/ DENTAL CLINIC WEBSITE DESIGN

Dental clinic website design that reassures.

It is nearly midnight and one side of someone’s jaw is throbbing. They are on their phone, scrolling clinics near them, looking for a face, a name, a price, and a photo of the room they will have to sit in. Most sites answer none of that. Here is what a clinic page owes them.

Lumen Dental, a clinic we imagined

Lumen Dental is not a real practice. The dentists are invented. The site around them is a complete build, made to show what a calm clinic page can feel like.

What it costs

A single-page clinic site, one dentist, one location, hours, prices and a WhatsApp button, starts from RM1,000. Most clinics land on RM2,800: a page for the practice, a page per dentist, treatments with prices, the rooms photographed properly, and how to find you. If you are opening a new practice and need the name, logo and signage as well as the site, that is RM5,500.

Every price is fixed and in writing before any work begins, and the domain, the site and the content stay yours. The full breakdown is on the pricing page, and there is a longer answer in what a website costs in Malaysia.

What a dental clinic website actually needs

01

The dentists, named, with credentials

A patient is choosing a person, not a practice. Give each dentist a page: full name, the qualification and where it was earned, the registration they practise under, years in the chair, the treatments they actually do, and a photograph looking at the camera. Google judges health pages on exactly this.

02

Prices, or at least honest ranges

Scaling and polishing, a composite filling, a simple extraction, a crown: put a figure or a from-to range against each. Cases vary and you cannot quote a root canal blind, so say that plainly. But a page with no numbers on it sends people straight back to the search results.

03

Photographs of your actual surgery

Dental fear is mostly fear of an unknown room. Show the waiting area, the chair, the sterilisation corner, the door someone walks through. Real photographs of your practice, with your own staff in them, do more to settle a nervous patient than any sentence about gentle care.

04

Booking that takes one tap

Most Malaysian patients would rather message than ring a receptionist, especially about a tooth. A WhatsApp button with the clinic name already in the message, a tappable phone number, and honest opening hours including the lunch close and which Saturdays you work.

05

Where you are, parking, and panels

Which floor of which block, the landmark people actually use, whether there is parking or only roadside coupons, and the nearest station if you have one. Then the panels: which insurers and corporate schemes you accept, and whether a patient needs a guarantee letter first.

06

Words that stay inside the rules

Healthcare advertising in Malaysia is regulated, and dentistry is watched closely. No painless promises, no guaranteed results, no before-and-after used as proof of what the next person will get. We write claims you can stand behind and keep testimonials factual.

What goes wrong

  • Stock photographs of a foreign surgery. The wrong faces, the wrong room, and a patient who arrives expecting somewhere else. Nobody trusts a health page that could belong to any clinic anywhere.
  • Not a single dentist named anywhere on the site. "Our experienced team" tells a patient nothing, and tells Google even less on a page about someone’s health.
  • No prices at all, anywhere. The patient assumes the worst, closes the tab, and calls the clinic two shoplots down that published a scaling fee.
  • Promises you cannot support: painless treatment, guaranteed whitening results, a perfect smile in one visit. Risky under Malaysian healthcare advertising rules, and the first thing a careful patient discounts.
  • The address buried in the footer, in small grey text, with nothing about parking. Someone in pain should not have to hunt for which floor you are on.

Questions clinic owners ask

What does a dental clinic website cost in Malaysia?

A one-page clinic site starts from RM1,000. Most clinics take the RM2,800 plan, which covers the practice, a page for each dentist, a treatment list with prices, photographs of the rooms, and directions. Brand and site together, for a new practice, is RM5,500. The price is fixed in writing before work begins.

Do I have to publish my prices?

You do not have to, but the clinics that do get better enquiries. A range is enough: scaling from a figure, fillings from a figure, crowns quoted after an examination. Patients who message you already know roughly what they are in for, so you spend less time on the phone talking to people who were only price checking.

Can I show before-and-after photographs?

Carefully, if at all. Malaysian healthcare advertising rules are strict about anything that reads as a promise of results, and a smile gallery can easily cross that line. If you use them, they must be your own patients, with written consent, unretouched, and clearly labelled as one person’s outcome rather than what anyone can expect.

Do I need an online booking system?

Usually not, and we will say so. Most clinics your size run the diary at the front desk, and a booking system that does not talk to it just creates double entries. A WhatsApp button and a tappable number get patients to your receptionist faster than a form. If your volume genuinely warrants software, we will tell you that too.

How long does a dental clinic website take?

Two to four weeks from the first conversation. The build is rarely the slow part. What takes time is getting each dentist to confirm their qualifications and registration details, agreeing the price list with whoever manages the clinic, and finding an afternoon when the surgery is tidy and empty enough to photograph.
